Police

The nearest Police Station is in Ixworth and is open from 9.00am to 11.00am on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

In an emergency dial 999.

You should dial 999 when life is threatened or people are injured, or if there is a crime in progress or/and when an immediate police response is necessary.

Remember, 101 is the new number to call when you want to contact your local police and when it is less urgent than 999.

101 is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Call 101 to contact the police to report less urgent crime and disorder or to speak to your local officers.

Local Transport - Bus 332

There are four bus services per week day (different times at the weekend) leaving from the bus shelter near the Memorial on The Street.

Schools

This area currently operates a Primary (5-9), Middle (9-13) and High (13-18) school system.

All schools in Suffolk admit children at the beginning of the term in which they have their fifth birthday - children with birhtdays between

January 1st and April 30th start in the Spring Term, those with birthdays between May 1st and August 31st start in the Summer Term

and those with birthdays between September 1st and December 31st start in the Autumn Term.
